One Record After Another in Swimming Championships
The Swimming Championship, organised by the TRNC Ministry of National Education, ended with a day full of records on 26 January 2024. Young swimmers dazzled with their performances.
Bartu Kaşif broke the Junior School Sports Record in the 50m Freestyle category with a tremendous performance. Kaşif dominated the water as he swam the distance in seconds and ranked first. Sports fans were once again amazed by Bartu Kaşif’s skills.
On the other hand, Özgül Çetin, competing in the Girls category, broke a new record for North Cyprus in the 200m Freestyle Swimming race. Çetin enjoyed the victory by passing the 200m distance quickly.
Enes Kansız took first place in the 50m Butterfly with his speed on the water and perfect technique. Sports enthusiasts watched Kansız’s outstanding performance with great excitement. With this victory, the young swimmer has written his name in golden letters in the swimming world.
