Bicycle Race in Iskele
On Saturday and Sunday, November 25 and 26, 2023, a cycling race (Northern Cyprus Granfondo) will be organized by the Turkish Cypriot Cycling Federation in Iskele.
Saturday’s bicycle race will start at 09:30 in front of Babutsa Buffet located at İskele Long Beach and will finish in front of Babutsa Buffet by following the route of Lokum Circle-Ünimar Circle, İskele city center, Ardahan, Turnalar, Ergazi, Büyükkonuk, Çayırova and İskele Bosphorus.
Sunday’s cycling race will start at 09:30 in front of Babutsa Buffet located at İskele Long Beach and finish in front of Babutsa Buffet by following the route of Lokum Circle-Akova, Mallıdağ, Tatlısu, Mersinlik, Kaplıca, Büyükkonuk, Çayırova and İskele Bosphorus. On the specified road routes, the cyclists will be accompanied by a police escort and all intersections and circles on the route where the athletes will pass will be closed to vehicle traffic by the police.
Drivers who will use the mentioned road routes on the specified dates are kindly requested to drive slowly and carefully for the safety of themselves and the athletes and to obey traffic signs and markers.
