The schedule of this year’s Young Men’s Badminton League, organized by the North Cyprus Badminton Federation and sponsored by Carlton, has been officially announced. This important tournament, which will take place at Atatürk Sports Hall and will contribute to the development of sports on the island, will start at 09:00 on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
This year’s league has been rebranded as the CARLTON Young Men’s and Women’s League with the contributions of Carlton. This platform, where stars will be discovered, is an important step for young badminton players. In the league where seven teams will compete in two groups, the teams that will take the first two places at the end of the group matches will qualify for the semi-finals.
In Group A, there are strong teams such as Near East University (NEU), N&F Cyprus SK, Ortadoğu SK and Nicosia Badminton Club, while in Group B; Badminton Severler SK, Gençlik Gücü and Net Sports Club will compete fiercely.
Federation President Fırat Deniz said, “The CARLTON Junior League offers a national stage to the young talents of the island. With the support of Carlton and Anıl Spor, we are creating a great opportunity for our young people to reach the level to represent our country on international platforms.” and wished success to all teams.
